The tests at Truck Driver Exam were professionally
designed by the licensed clinical and research psychologist, Dr. William
McConochie.
Dr. McConochie earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Carleton College,
Northfield, Minn. in 1961.
He holds Masters (1968) and Doctoral (1970) degrees in psychology from Illinois
Institute of Technology, Chicago and was a clinical intern at Northwestern
University Medical School in Chicago in 1970-71. After teaching at the
University of Dayton in Ohio for one year, he moved to Oregon where he has been
in private practice since 1972. |

Other interests have included
theory, computer programming for test scoring, and employment test development
and related research. He is a licensed psychologist in Oregon and a member of
the Oregon and American Psychological Associations and a member of the Society
of Organizational and Industrial Psychologists.
